Yesterday morning our church overwhelmingly voted to cease operations at the location in Runaway Bay where the facilities are very nice but the debt is unsustainable and move to the city of Lake Bridgeport, just 5 miles away. We already have services there on Sunday nights and the facilities are just as nice and actually more usable and there will be only minor costs associated with it.
We are very excited about how God has provided in this wonderfully unique way and has allowed us to move from an area that has several churches and into an area that has no church established at all. We are now placing the buildings and property in Runaway Bay up for sale but will begin worshiping full-time in Lake Bridgeport on December 1st, 2012.
We have a lot of work to do but God has proven Himself faithful, generous and merciful to our church over and over again and we look forward to seeing how he provides for us in the future and to how we have more and more opportunities to make His name famous. Thank you, Lord, for your sovereign protection and provision of your church!
